Tim Bugin
VP, Payor Contracting

Tim Bugin is the Vice President of Payor Contracting & Reimbursement on the MedExpress team.

Tim joins MedExpress with over 15 years of experience. Most recently, Tim served as the Administrator at Kindred Hospital at Heritage Valley. Prior to that, Tim served in various senior level management roles at HealthSouth Hospital of Pittsburgh, including Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Tim has a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from West Virginia University, and a master’s degree in education/exercise physiology from the University of Pittsburgh.

Tim is responsible for:

• payor relations and contracting
• payor communication and education
• relationship building and maintenance
• payor and provider credentialing
• malpractice administration.
