At MedExpress, patients are seen immediately — without appointments and without long waits. We deliver quality care on demand from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week in an attractive and welcoming environment. When necessary, our medical team can administer IV fluid therapy, perform minor surgery, suture wounds and splint fractures right in our office. While we are equipped to provide a broad scope of urgent care, patients requiring inpatient treatment are stabilized at our facility and transported to a local hospital. To expedite care, our patients have access to extensive on-site diagnostic capabilities, including laboratory services, an EKG suite and X-ray technology. Patients rarely have to go elsewhere for testing, and processing results on-site facilitates faster diagnosis and treatment.
Effective Communication
Our on-site case managers serve as communication liaisons between patients, referral sources and employers and keep all parties up-to-date on an employee’s return-to-work process. Utilizing Med-Express CorporateCare® ensures:
- Adherence to your company’s individualized workers’ compensation procedures
- Timely communication to your company and third-party
administration using physical capabilities reports that detail the extent of injury, the care provided, anticipated care needs and the ability of the employee to perform job responsibilities
- Development of individualized treatment plans that focus on and support your company’s established return-to-work program
- Coordination of outside referrals and testing services as needed
