MedExpress Urgent Care Establishes Corporate Headquarters

Morgantown, WV, October 30, 2006

MedExpress Urgent Care continues to prove that blending quality healthcare, convenience and customer service is not an impossible task. In fact it is their mission - Great care. Fast. The combination of these elements has contributed significantly to their successful expansion.

With locations in Morgantown and Parkersburg, WV, as well as Washington, Monroeville and Pleasant Hills, PA; providing consistent quality care at multiple locations requires exceptional support. The establishment of a Corporate Headquarters was just a matter of time. By 2006, with employee numbers exceeding 150, and multistate locations, a central command center emerged.

“We had to create a mechanism of support so our clinics’ staff can focus on providing great care fast.” said Frank Alderman, M.D., President and CEO of MedExpress. “Like any company, the amount of administration and detail required for day-to-day operations
is immense. We had to take this step to keep our customer commitment alive at the clinic level.”

MedExpress Corporate Headquarters was established with the purpose of supporting and growing existing clinics and their staff, as well as establishing a presence in new markets.

Staying close to their roots, MedExpress settled their corporate home in the same building as their Morgantown clinic. Housed on the second floor of the Kay Casto & Chaney building at 215 Don Knotts Boulevard, Morgantown, MedExpress Corporate Headquarters is comprised of offices that provide support for Clinical & Business Operations, Human Resources, Development & Marketing, Purchasing & Inventory and Executive Leadership.
