MedExpress Urgent Care Celebrates One Year in New Building(Morgantown, WV – January 24, 2007)
For the past year, patients have enjoyed coming to MedExpress Urgent Care’s new location for the treatment of illness and injury. MedExpress will celebrate its one-year anniversary of the move with its employees. “We’ll do cake or something…we like to celebrate with our staff,” said Dr. Vic Starcher, Medical Director.
On January 27, 2006, MedExpress moved its facilities from Morgantown’s Wharf District, to the newly named Dinsmore and Shohl Building on Don Knotts Boulevard. The building is also home to Waterfront Family Pharmacy, Hardesty and Associates, Premier Physical Therapy, Waterfront Pharmacy, Dinsmore and Shohl Attorneys (formerly Kay Casto and Chaney LLC) and the Corporate Headquarters of MedExpress.
“When we moved into this location, we were focused on providing easier access and free parking,” says Dr. Frank Alderman, President and CEO of MedExpress. “Our patients truly appreciate all the conveniences of the new location, including being next to Waterfront Family Pharmacy.” MedExpress houses an X-ray facility, lab, IV stations and many private treatment and examination rooms.
Since its opening in 2001, MedExpress has opened five more clinics throughout West Virginia and southwestern Pennsylvania.
