MedExpress Urgent Care Opens in Wheeling, WV

MedExpress Opens in Wheeling

MedExpress Urgent Care opened the doors to its Wheeling location on June 25, 2008.  The Wheeling center is the 11th MedExpress location in the region, and the 3rd location in West Virginia.

“Many of our providers and employees have roots in the Wheeling area,” said Erich Lipphardt, VP of Development and Marketing.  “Everyone is excited to introduce MedExpress to their family and friends in the Ohio Valley.”

The clinic is located on National Road, and is proud to have well-known providers who are natives of Wheeling, including Rex Lasure, MD; Mike Fortunato, MD; Max West, MD; Scott Miller, NP; Peggy Ferguson, NP; Maggie Hodge, PA-C (formerly Kennen); and Debra Galbreth, NP.

Jody Klug, Director of Clinical Services, and also from Wheeling, said “This is just great.  It’s been a long time coming, and I’m excited that people in Wheeling can finally experience Great Care. Fast.”
