MedExpress Urgent Care Continues West Virginia Expansion

MedExpress Urgent Care opened in Beckley, West Virginia on August 5, 2008.  This is the fourth MedExpress center to open in West Virginia, following a recent opening in Wheeling this past June.

“We are very excited to provide the residents of Beckley and surrounding communities with access to full-service, affordable urgent care that is patient-focused, with unsurpassed customer service,” said Frank Alderman, MD, President and CEO of MedExpress.

Since opening its first location in Morgantown, West Virginia, MedExpress Urgent Care has opened eight centers throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, and is now focusing on expanding in West Virginia.

“When we started this company, we wanted to offer patients the cleanest, nicest, and best medical experience possible,” said Kevin Blankenship, MD, Chief Operations Officer of MedExpress.  “Nothing has changed since we made that decision.”
