Florida Centers Join Growing MedExpress Urgent Care FootprintFive MedExpress Urgent Care centers in Florida are now partnered with the growing national platform headquartered in Morgantown, WV.
The two companies that recently joined forces have similar business models and are combining to share best practices, which will benefit the employee culture and patient experience in all MedExpress regions. The companies have worked together to build improvements in operational efficiencies, while maintaining continued attention to world-class customer service and continued access to affordable urgent care services.
“We have had a working relationship with the MedExpress centers in Florida for a long time,” said Frank Alderman, MD, President & CEO of the national company. “I and the other founders of MedExpress worked together in residency at West Virginia University with Neil Morandi, MD, the founder of the MedExpress centers in Florida.”
“The philosophical, cultural, operational, and historical relationships between our companies created a win-win situation”, said Dr. Morandi. “We’ve shared our business practices in our separate markets for many years and it made sense to leverage our efforts.”
The addition of the Florida centers extends the MedExpress footprint to 22 centers in four states with several others under development.
