MedExpress Urgent Care Brings Great Care. Fast.® to Uniontown, PA

MedExpress Urgent Care will open a Uniontown location on McClellandtown Road, in Gabriel’s Plaza, on September 16, 2008.  This will be the ninth MedExpress center treating residents of Southwestern PA. 

Uniontown native Dean Hatcher, Vice President of Operations for the Pennsylvania and West Virginia region, is excited to introduce MedExpress to his hometown.   “I’m very happy that we’re opening a MedExpress center here where I grew up,” said Hatcher.  “A location in Uniontown allows the residents who live between Washington, PA and Morgantown, WV access to another quality healthcare option that is both affordable and convenient.”

Since opening its first Pennsylvania center in Washington in 2004, MedExpress has opened centers in Monroeville, Pleasant Hills, Mars, Greensburg, Upper St. Clair, O'Hara Township, and Scott Township.  MedExpress also has locations in Morgantown, Parkersburg, Beckley and Wheeling, WV.

MedExpress was founded on the principals of convenience, with a strong focus on customer service, and there are no appointments.  Patients can just walk in, 9am to 9pm, seven days a week.  MedExpress is known for its attention to access, efficiency and care, and is proud of its ability to process, diagnose and treat most patients in under an hour.
