Harry M. " Moe" Rubenstein, Esq. Joins MedExpress as General Counsel
Harry M. (“Moe”) Rubenstein, Esq., recently joined MedExpress as the Company’s General Counsel, where he will provide legal support and serve the growing demands of MedExpress. Mr. Rubenstein joins MedExpress from his previous position at the law firm Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, where he was managing partner of the firm’s Morgantown office.
Rubenstein has served as General Counsel to MedExpress since the company’s inception. On-going growth of the Morgantown-based urgent care business has resulted in a number of infrastructure improvements in the last 12 months. With 36 operating centers in four states, inclusion of a legal department became a basic necessity.
Rubenstein earned his J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law, and has been managing legal matters and advising the development of legal and compliance standards for MedExpress.
“Being available on an in house basis will improve communication and delivery of legal services,” said Rubenstein. “We will work across all areas and provide proactive services and training. The ultimate goal is patient service and satisfaction.”
Rubenstein will continue a relationship with the firm Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, maintaining status as Of Counsel.
Rubenstein has been active in North Central West Virginia as a community supporter. “This transition is a new and exciting aspect of my career, and I’m pleased about the commitments MedExpress has in the community. We support the same efforts and can carry some previous community support efforts forward.”
Rubenstein lives in Bridgeport, WV, and is the father of three children – Alex, Celestial and Molly.
