MedExpress Continues Pittsburgh ExpansionMedExpress Urgent Care is no stranger to Pittsburgh. For the past several years, the company has strategically established full-service urgent care clinics throughout Southern Pennsylvania. The newest location will open in Center Township on Wednesday, April 29, 2009.
“We’ll be on Brodhead Road, next to Wal-Mart, in the facility formerly occupied by Famous Footwear,” said Erich Lipphardt, VP of Development and Marketing. “We wanted another center north of the city, in addition to our clinic in Butler County. We select our locations carefully, so we were pleased to find a site that is so easily accessible for Beaver County residents.”
MedExpress was founded in Morgantown, WV, in 2001, and has since grown to be one of the nation’s leading urgent care services companies with 37 centers in 4 states. MedExpress founder and CEO says it’s committed to being the best and isn’t as concerned about being the largest. “Our vision has been, and remains, to exceed patient expectations,” said Frank Alderman, MD and CEO of MedExpress. “We’re fortunate to have the support we’ve always had and don’t take it for granted. And because of that, we will never stray from our focus on being the best, rather than steering toward the biggest.”
